A fabulous example of the 1st issue Red label variant

BOTH sides of this disc have mirror like, deep gloss, surfaces which show extremely light surface hairlines and a few tiny handling marks but no scratches

Under a halogen lamp there are numerous light handling lines but these are superficial and have no bearing on the performance of this disc

Audio clarity from this disc is the best I've ever heard, with no deterioration in quality and no peak ware at all. The vocals and music on both tracks are crystal clear and produce a rich sound quality equal to a new issue

There is nothing more than light background on the run-ins, which totally disappears during the songs and apart from a couple of barely audible pops on the 'A' side the whole disc plays through without any problems

 The labels are undamaged, with lovely, vibrant, silver/grey text and just a sticker removal stain on the 'B' side, which has not left any damage to the text

The push-out centre of the 'A' side has the ZT tax code embossed


There are very light spindle trails, each side, confined to the centre push-out

The original and genuine 1st issue sleeve is near mint and free from any writing or seam splits

All in all, a lovely,  first issue and great addition to any Beatles collection
