Description

An original 1st press in Mono on CBS from 1966. Matrix 1/1/1/1. Original textured labels with large '33'. This 1st issue was not around for long - and is very collectable. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover with exposed flipbacks on the interior and the correct imaging for 1st issue. Both CBS inners too. 100% complete and genuine.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) Give the vintage and the type of music involved this copy is in excellent order - having see relatively light use. A couple of light marks here and there per side - nothing troublesome. Some light frosting in a couple of spots - nothing that seems to cause much problems. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a MOSTLY NEAR EXCELLENT or VERYGOOD+ level of playback with the odd deviation here and there. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity for the most part. Expect a few crackles in a couple of moments per side - but nothing upfront or persistent. Maybe a couple of ticks in one spot per side. Clean into the really fussy numbers like SELOTLL. So, it's a really decent level performer. Not an abused copy. Very impressive.
Cover (Vg+) Pretty clean and tidy looking exterior. All flipbacks fully intact and secure - some discolouration top right and left. Overall the interior is in very nice condition. The spine is 80% intact with slight wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inners (Vg+) One has escaped splitting. The other repaired.
