This is an excellent vintage LP by Captain Beefheart on Straight STS 1053, entitled "Trout Mask Replica," from 1969.

Captain Beefheart’s legendary masterwork with Zoot Horn Rollo, Antennae Jimmy Semens, The Mascara Snake and Rockette Morton, produced by Frank Zappa for his Straight label.

Apparently most Straight pressings of this set actually were comprised of a 1053 gatefold containing the later labels numbered 2027 instead of 1053. For this reason the guides price this one considerably higher than all other pressing variations.

Both heavy vinyl discs appear perfect and unplayed! There are absolutely no marks, no fingerprints, and no warping!

Labels are perfectly clean! There are no stickers and no writing!

The gatefold jacket is all but perfect! It is made of thick brown stock. The grade is NM, because there are no splits, no bent corners, no writing, and no ring wear!
This is NOT a cut-out LP, there are absolutely no cut corners, saw marks, or drill holes! No bar code on the back cover.

Includes original NM printed inner sleeves and tri-fold lyric insert!
