Description
This is an auction for an Original copy of the EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND 1956 DEMO / PROMO EP release ELVIS PRESLEY - PERFECT FOR PARTIES released in the USA.
The record itself (SPA 7-37 dog on top) is in VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD condition with some visible marks/scratches.(nothing too deep or drastic)
As well as Elvis singing Love Me , this has the added charm of Elvis being the narrator and introducing all the tracks by the other RCA artists on the E.P.
The centre labels are quite bright and have but do have the non sticky remains of a sticker on one side(see photos)
They are clearly marked by the words " NOT FOR SALE". (see photos)
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $60 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD ) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 62 years old and is in reasonable condition for the age.
The things that stop this grading higher is some pen marks on the front and rear, a partial seam split on the bottom and age discolouration/staining on the rear (see photos)
THIS ONE RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE AND IS ONLY THE 5th ORIGINAL COPY I HAVE EVER SOLD IN 12 YEARS OF SELLING ON EBAY!!!!!!
This is a really affordable addition to fill any collection!.
THE WILL SERVE AS A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT $150 MINT RECORD and SLEEVE COMES ALONG!!!!!!
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $85+(£65 approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £65+.
THIS REALLY IS A HARD TO FIND TO SLEEVE!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
