Description: One of the most important and rare Elvis recordings on Sun. This original SUN 45 features the Rock and Roll classic Mystery Train and I Forgot To Remember To Forget. Dead wax has the following 45-U -156X 20 on the Mystery Train side and 45-U -157X 20 on the I Forgot To Remember To Forget side.
            This record is fresh to the market, discovered at a local estate sale. I do not like to go on and on about the history and how collectable this 45 is, nor do I want to twist your arm to buy the record. If you like what you see and hear, bid, chances are this is one of the finest copies to become available in a long time. The mp3 samples were done on my ION turntable, using AUDACITY software, I have not altered the recording in any way. Also, I have not cleaned the record (other than a dry soft brush).
            Some things to consider about this auction. There is no Reserve and I will not end this auction early. The winning bidder will be responsible for postal insurance, it will be added to the shipping cost. Foreign bidders are welcome, they will have to have the record sent REGISTERED MAIL (as there is not insurance) which is an additional $12.00 US. The true value of the record will be stated on the customs form, so do not ask for special favors.

Condition: The paper labels appear flawless, if looked at very closely the I Forgot side has a tiny amount of wear at high ridge below BMI VF+. The vinyl has some paper scuffing from sleeve storage, looks like it was probably played a couple dozen times VF-. Surface still has bright shine. On the edge of the record there is a tiny (1/16”-) rough spot, that seems like it is a manufacturing defect, it doesn’t even extend into the dead space at the beginning. There is no associated warp or extra thickness. Really the only way you can find it is by running your finger over the edge. Overall I would rate this record as Very Fine.
