Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1971 release of The Sound Of Your Cry / It's Only Love released in the USA.
The record itself (48-1017 on orange label) is in VERY GOOD+ condition retaining some of it's natural sheen with some visible marks/scratches but nothing deep.
There are some scuff marks / ringwear on the labels but NO WRITING!
This was the ONLY Elvis release issued with the 48 prefix!
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $32 in the condition it is in now(which I would say is VERY GOOD+ ) for the sleeve alone!!!
Although this sleeve is 49 years old there are NO SPLITS, RIPS ,TEARS or WRITING! (see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some ringwear / creases and indentations from where I believe a replaceable centre may have been in place at some point (see photos)
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $37(£30 approx.)
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £32.
With a starting price at under half that you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA picture sleeve lots.
I also offer shipping discounts on multiple purchases.(Please request total invoice when through bidding)
APOLOGIES FOR POSTAGE PRICE INCREASES BUT THIS IS DUE TO ROYAL MAIL RAISING COSTS AS OF MARCH 2019
