FREDDIE KING "MY FEELING FOR THE BLUES" stereo Import lp on French/Cotillion 40497 French issue 1973 VG+/VG+. (New dealer: Please check my About Me page.)

I would grade this LP VG+. It plays great, but has some minimal noise that was not there when the record was new. It may also have noticeable visual marks consistent with a well cared for and very appreciated record that’s had a moderate amount of play. This LP still plays great and has lots of shine and is beautiful overall. THIS IS A VINTAGE COPY (pre-2000). If you are a Freddie King  fan and you don't have his two lps on Cotillion you are missing two of his best recordings. There is a good case to be made for this being the best band they ever put behind him: GEORGE COLEMAN; FRANK WESS; TREVOR LAWRENCE; WILLIE BRIDGES; ERNIE ROYAL; MARTIN BANKS; GEORGE STUBBS; CORNELL DUPREE; JERRY JEMMOTT (giving a bass playing clinic); KENNETH RICE. Add KING CURTIS as producer and you've got one hot session. 5 stars.

The Jacket: (I don’t rate any jackets with my initials NM) In black magic marker, my initials back upper left, an x back lower left. A very functional jacket. I would rate the cover VG+ overall with bottom seam wear and part of a sticker on back. Otherwise normal shelf wear.
