Description
This second release by Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac on the original Blue Horizon label is a first pressing on thick vinyl 7-63205 with A1/B1 matrix numbers. The disc itself still has a high gloss and has no scratching but a small amount of paper scuffing (please see other photographs for a better idea of record quality). The labels show a small amount of spindle marking but no hole wear.
The original UK patented ploylined inner sleeve is in excellent condition and has Mr Wonderful, Fleetwood Mac written in the top left hand corner.
The laminated flipback gatefold sleeve (Ernest J Day) with its matt interior, is in excellent condition with no ringwear on the front or the rear. There is a small amount of wear on the top edge/spine corner junction. The spine and the rest of the cover is in excellent condition with no creasing and still has a high polish surface.
This record is from my private collection and was bought by me from new. It has been kept upright in custom built shelving away from light and damp and in dust free conditions since I bought it way back in 1969. I can, hand on heart, say that it has not been turntabled for the last 35 years!
All in all, this is a magnificent album and is a must for any lover of the Blues. Peter Green was my hero in the late 60's, and his guitar playing/ unique voice and absolute feel for the Blues music affected my musical collecting for years to come.
You will not be disappointed with your choice should you bid for this item.
