Description

An original 1st press of Rumours on the Warners label from 1977. Matrix A1/B1. Etching 'mastered by capitol' & 'INT'L'. All indicative of very 1st press in the UK. The vinyl comes housed in an original TEXTURED cover. Also included is the generic white patent no's inner sleeve with the lyric poster on heavy-card. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In perfect condition and has only seen the very lightest use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. If you are looking for a top-level copy it makes a lot of sense to start with a NEAR-MASTER copy. Very difficult to find fault here - just lovely pure audio tumbling out of the speakers. Don't short change yourself with an untested or marginally inferior copy. This original really has the stamp of quality written all over it. Interference is practically non-existent. All I could honestly detect were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. Even 'Songbird' which is extremely fussy plays nigh on perfectly. A tremendous and clean rendition from start to finish. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex) In really superb condition and has clearly been very carefully looked after down the years. Very clean front and back with only super-light signs of handling - no creasing or surface wear. Edge wear is very light and the openings still sharp. The spine is 100% intact - perfect. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. 
Inner (Ex) No seam splits. No marks or ageing.
Lyric sheet/poster (Ex+) Perfect with no issues. Very nice heavy-card employed.
