Description
Hello from purplegallinule - I am a vinyl enthusiast and have been buying, selling and trading records since the mid-1970's. I am a collector myself and apply high standards to my vinyl and only ever sell records which I would be 100% happy to add to my own collection.
All the records are wet vacuum cleaned before being thoroughly play tested and housed in brand new high quality poly-lined inner and protective outer sleeves.
Although considerably more of a music fan than an expert, I certainly know my way around vinyl records well enough to say that you can buy from me with confidence and as a collector myself, my policy is simple - if I wouldn't be happy to immediately slide these records for sale into my own personal collection then they will not be listed for sale on here - all I would ask of you is for a chance to put things right in the unlikely event that you are not fully satisfied.
All records are sent a.s.a.p. and packaged thoroughly in bespoke mailers with rigid card stiffeners to avoid any creasing or bumped corners and I am always very happy to combine postage.

The George Wallington Quintet - 'The New York Scene' - original 1961 vinyl album in excellent condition. The run outs are etched 'PRLP-8207-A / PRLP-8207-B' and stamped 'RVG'.
The vinyl is in excellent condition with only very light superficial hairlines visible in bright light and this visual condition is well reflected in the playback. I played this superb album right through both sides this afternoon and it plays through excellently, just a little non-intrusive low level crackle evident between the tracks but with the music in full flow the audio is great.
The front laminated 'Cyanart Ltd.' flipback sleeve carries a superb panoramic view of New York to the front with sleeve notes to the rear by Ira Gitler and is in excellent condition with just a little edge wear and very light creasing with the inevitable light ring wear and discolouration/foxing to the rear but all in all this is still a really good looking sleeve.
The original inner sleeve is of course included though the vinyl is now housed in a brand new poly-lined inner for safekeeping.
