Description

Hawkwind's In Search Of Space was their 2nd album, with an iconic fold out cover.

This is an early copy, my memory tells me bought at the time of issue, but it has  "Made in France" on the record labels, and cover has E. J. Day Group, London and Bedford

Vinyl Ex-

The vinyl is Ex- Very little in the way of scuffs or marks, and nothing that sounds on play back

Labels are immaculate with no wear or spindle marks.

Has "MADE IN FRANCE" on the labels, and the SACEM logo

Sleeve Ex-

Immaculately clean. The only minimal damage is a 3 inch scuff to the bottom edges - see photo. Otherwise just a light crease at the open-flap (photo) often a weak point on older copies.

Booklet Ex-

In Excellent- condition, the only disorder being a small missing top right corner (photo). No other tears, or damage, not even losening at the staples.

Inner

Plain white inner. Light corner creasing. No tears. My name written on one side

Mint (M)

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. 

Excellent (Ex)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packag­ing might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (Vg)

The record has obviously been played many times, and may have slight deterioration in sound quality, noticeable sur­face marks and the occasional light scratch. Sleeve will have wear and tear, as expected for it's age.

Good (Gd)

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and scratches. The cover and contents suffer from significant folding, scuffing of edges, discoloration, etc.

- All records are sent in a stiff record mailer with additional stiffener. Record removed from the sleeve/inner and put into new inner - original included of course. Items put into protective plastic sleeve

- For UK deliveries I will only send by Royal Mail. Delivery experiences (sending and receiving) with alternative couriers is consistently disappointing. Too many missed locations, left at boundary rather than to door, in the rain..... Sent by RM Tracked 48, and with the quality packaging /stiffeners /inner/sleeve totalling >£2, hence Postage + Packaging cost.

I will combine postage, up to 4 albums in a pack, at +£1.10 per additional album. So 4 albums would be £7.80 p&p

If bidding from overseas ebay will calculate and charge shipping costs and quote to you. 1 album package is usually below 500 gms, but some album/cover/sleeve/packing combinations are more than 500gms, certainly all Gatefold sleeves and/or double albums - depending upon where it is being sent to.
