Description

Rare and original mono copy on the Bethlehem label! Matrix numbers are: BCP-12-6055-A-R-1 BCP-12-6055-B-R-1
The vinyl has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty system and sounds very good, despite the continual moderate surface noise noted above under "condition." As all collectors of vintage mono records understand, old mono vinyl can sound fine despite being visibly scuffed or even scratched. When using a conventional modern stereo phono cartridge, one usually obtains the best results by summing the two channels to mono (with a jumper wire across the cart pins or with a "mono" switch on a preamp or integrated amp). I got fine sound from this record by summing the channels to mono, cancelling most of the noise that would be generated through normal stereo reproduction.
Please read the "condition" note carefully, and look carefully at all the photos! I have tried to provide photos that accurately show what the surface of the record looks like to the naked eye, under ordinary light.
To preserve the record and cover in their current condition, I will pack professionally in a proper LP mailer (reused, but still sturdy).
