Description

An original 1st press of SPACE on UK UA label from '71. Matrix A1/B2. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original die-cut opening out gatefold. We also have the original log book and the UA inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Vg/Vg+) In decent condition and still delivering well given it has seen moderate use. Expect a few light marks and a couple of light trails. If you're someone who is going to freak out at said marks - probably best look for a cleaner copy. But in reality this LP still plays pretty well - certainly not clean enough for higher grading. When on song it's hitting a VG+ standard [with deviation]. Expect a few crackles in a couple of the quieter sections each side. Also I'm getting a couple of ticks in a couple of spots per side. A perfectly acceptable player - providing you're not overly fussy.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and many of these original copies are usually wrecked by this point in time. A nice looking front with out excessive wear and the die-cut openings is in very fine condition. The interior is very tidy. On the rear a bit of light surface wear and a couple of blemishes in the middle. Edge wear is relatively light and the openings are nice sharp and firm. The spine is above average with most text still legible. A touch of wear along the edge. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Logbook (Vg+) Light ageing [as is difficult to avoid]. No other issues really. Pretty tidy all round.
Inner (Vg) Aged. But no splits.
