Description

Vee Jay LP 1062 mono vinyl LP (1964)     Introducing the Beatles

Record is VG, no serious scratches, most tracks play VG+
labels have ring wear near center hole
Cover is in Good condition  4" split along top in from right, edge wear and tearing 5" along top in from left; split along bottom 6 1/2" in from left, remaining portion repaired (early on) with a textured, mostly transparent tape; some other short strips of tape extending vertically from the repair on front; Lennon's head circled with multiple rings in blue pen; upper and lower left corners on front have surface tears; writing in pen on front upper right corner, appears to have been taped up here, with the tape later removed; back cover has been worn down to the cardboard around the border, with a large tearaway of the surface in the upper left corner where the owner wrote her name address and phone number

plain white inner sleeve has 4" tape repair near top on one edge, minor splitting along bottom, circular doodle in blue pen and two small stains

...but by all indications it's real (and by no indications is it fake), one of only 6,000 of the original front cover slicks printed in 1963 by Coburn & Company, confirmed by "Printed in U.S.A." along left edge on the front. Dead wax area is approx. 7/8" wide on both sides, with AudioMatrix machine stamped on both sides.
