Description
Jack Costanzo AFRO CUBAN LP - Blue Label. We collect vintage Fiesta ware, but often come into possession of GREAT collectibles in other categories and genres. Up for your consideration is this nice Afro-Cuban LP from Jack "Mr. Bongo" Constanzo. It is on the G-N-P label and this one has a blue label on the disc. Costanzo, who lived to age 98, had a solo career and also played with Desi Arnez, Stan Kenton and Nat King Cole among many artists. The GNP-Crescendo label was founded in 1954.
Condition: The record is in EXC. shape, sounds clean and crisp with only very light scratches (no Pops). Plays sharp and smooth. The Label is clean, not faded or dinged. The jacket is in VG+ shape with bright colors, intact edges, firm corners, minor signs of handling and age. There is some wear along the spine and a 5" separation along the top edge (see photo).
