Description
This unique clock is handmade from the original 1968 vinyl record; Electric Ladyland released on Track Records.
Uniquely designed, has been cut out from the middle 10.5cm (4.3 inches) of the record, leaving the label and an outer ring of the vinyl, which becomes the clock face.
The record sleeve is made into a presentation box (10.8cm x 10.8cm x 3.3cm), maximising the iconic imagery of the sleeve.
The clock can be taken out of the box and hung on a wall, or can be displayed in the box on any flat surface.
THIS IS NO LONGER THE FULL 12" RECORD. MOST OF THE VINYL HAS BEEN CUT OFF.
Please see the spindle marks on the record label/clock face. This is normal wear and tear of a 54 year old record. Also, 1960s laminated record sleeves were susceptible to creasing, this one is no exception.
Quality quartz mechanism - German UTS.
Bespoke metal hands (silver on this one).
Comes in a bespoke plastic box (see pictures)
Takes a single AA battery (not supplied due to postal restrictions)
Discreet size (no longer a full size LP)
Never used.
