CAFFE EXPRESS / E... GLI UCCELLI VOLANO ... 7-inch, 45rpm single by LA NUOVA FORMULA. Original Italian pressing on the CASUAL label (CS 3064), from 1979. Desirable, psychedelic disco / Italian prog obscurity featuring the spaced-out CAFFE EXPRESS theme. Stoned cosmic groove / Italo deviance with thumping kick-drums, buzzing fuzz distortions and glistening, no wave synthesizers. Great for DJs. Really infectious sound and clever arrangement. Lovely, mellow vocals and fender rhodes too. The E... GLI UCCELLI VOLANO side is also superb. Much more Balearic / Italian hippie sounding with lots of cool hip hop drum patterns over the last minute or so. Beautiful, futuristic sleeve artwork by Passeretti with nude couple beach scene / sunset and seagulls. Rare 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in strong VG++ condition with some hairlines. Surface noises but most probably due to the actual pressing. One, faded pressing mark / scuff to 'E... Gli Uccelli..' side. Inner edge of label has some bubbles around the centre hole. The picture sleeve is closer to M- condition overall with a little creasing from storage and a touch of wear in places. Rare OST 45!!!
