Original 1958 US Blue Note pressing of Lee Morgan - The Cooker BLP1578
Deep groove labels with 47 West 63rd.NYC labels. Plastylite ‘P’ also known as the ‘Ear’ in runout both sides, RVG stamped. Laminated cover, No Inc. on cover address = first pressing.
Not in the best condition! Vinyl absolutely covered in marks, some of which are feelable. plays with constant noise. SKIPS on A Night In Tunisia towards the end of Pepper’s Sax solo. I have added a recording of the record to the listing below to give a rough idea of how it plays - may sound better or worse on your set-up. I guess the grade would be Good for the most part, though really it is Fair due to the skip mentioned on A1.
Cover has full spine split, tape covering top opening edge split. dulling to laminate, laminated peeling on edges/seams. stains on back of cover. No original inner sleeve.
