LEE MORGAN "THE COOKER" LP - On Blue Note Records, #1578. Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp from 1958! Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NYC address on the labels. The label is DEEP GROOVE with the "EAR" and RVG stamp in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Lee Morgan/trumpet; Pepper Adams/baritone sax; Bobby Timmons/piano; Paul Chambers/bass; "Philly" Joe Jones/drums. The thick laminated cardboard cover is in excellent shape and displays wonderfully. Partial seam wear/splitting (approx. 3") along left edge at bottom. Faint age stain at bottom right edge on back side. NO writing, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23. The super glossy vinyl is in VG++ to VG+ condition with some light marks or scuffs.
