Description

An original red & plum copy from 1971 - 18 months after 1st release. Matrix A6/B4. Nice heavy pressing as you tend to find on the early ones. The vinyl comes housed in an original matt gatefold cover. Not a top grader - but pretty decent for someone who doesn't want to pay top dollar.
Vinyl (Vg+/Vg) In very nice condition having seen reasonable use - but has not been abused. Under close inspection there are a few light marks per side - nothing heavy or nasty looking.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly VERYGOOD+ level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are pretty quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Not clean enough to hit higher grading, but it's playing very nice for large parts. The only passage I could take some issue with is the later stages of Killing Floor. There's a couple of ticks and a few crackles here and there. Don't expect a perfect rendition. A couple of clicks midway through Moby Dick. It's a pretty solid player just expect a few crackles in some of the quieter moments. Nothing unpalatable really. If you're on a budget - very worthy of consideration.
Cover (Vg+/Vg) Nice condition, but exhibiting some of that surface wear that is typical of this title. Sticker removal mark top right on the front. The interior looks really nice. Some edge wear here and there, but nothing worrisome. The spine is fully intact with minor wear and ageing [pretty decent though overall]. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity in part thanks to the heavy card employed in construction.
