Description

An original copy of Zep II o n the Red & Plum Atlantic label from 1971. Matrix A6/B4. The labels are consistent with a later copy from 1971 with 'Killing Floor' now exhibiting on the labels rather than Lemon Song. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover printed by E J Day. Also included is the original plastic bag warning inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Vg+) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are only a couple of light marks per side, and then one mark in Whole Lotta Love which causes a couple of skips [see details below]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly VERYGOOD+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. By and large a very decent player with clean audio and not all that much to find fault with. It's certainly hasn't been over played or abused at all. The only one deviation is during "Whole Lotta Love" as alluded to above. A mark causes a couple of skips [non-repeating] in the middle of the track. It plays through... so it won't stick for you. Barring that one issue the rest of the LP plays back very respectably. You just have to live with that one issue really.
Cover (Vg) In nice shape and hasn't suffered too much over the years. A relatively clean front without much surface wear. There's more on the rear - which is fairly typical or this release. The interior is fine - no issues. There's a bit of edge wear in places. There's a bit more on the spine so don't expect to make out much of the text.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
