Always in demand and rare 45 of the spanish duo Manolo y Ramon, better known since the early 60s as "El Duo Dinamico". These tracks are taken from their rare and unknown album "Manolo y Ramón en Londres", a pop-sike masterpiece recorded in London in 1969 under the assistance of the George Martin team of arrangers, Cyril Payne and Kenny Clayton and featuring big name session musicians such as JIMMY PAGE and IAN ANDERSON
"Lagrimas, sonrisas" is a killer mix of mod-soul & spanish styled freakbeat with a light dose of popsyke: tremendous sound & studio production with thumping bass, breakbeating drumming, killer sampleable horns, powerful spanish soulish vocals, ultra ye ye groovy female choruses, Hammond splashes...and just when you think it can't be any better, it suddenly comes a tempo change that turns the song into a dreamy popsike Rubble styled track. Compiled on the great "La Dicoteque Psychedelique:22 European Funky Folk & Pop- Sike Tunes".
