?- NOTE ABOUT MANTECA:
This legendary Afro-Cuban master percussionist Lázaro Plá, better known as "Manteca", Lazaro (R.I.P), known as "Manteca" to all the Cubans, was one of the best bongoseros from Cuba. His background goes back to the early days when he was the bongo player for the great Cuban pianist and composer Ernesto Lecuona and the international famous Lecuona Cuban Boys (Candido also performed in this great orchestra!).
?-This LP is Fire,it has a great variety of rhythms with Carlos (patato) Valdes on congas and Nelson (El Flaco) Pardon on timbales both great Cuban percussionists.
THREE(3)* Version exists of this Rare Recording Original press, one on GRC/JRC (US pressing) and one on the,Sound Triangle,Desca label-Which are All Reissues.This One I'm Selling is The Real Deal.
