Description
You are bidding on a rare, original, vintage, jazz, LP record album, pressed in 1958, entitled, "Miles Davis and the Modern Jazz Giants",on the Prestige Record label, #PRLP 7150. This is the original yellow label with black print with the "203 Washingon Ave. Bergenfield, N.J." address. Also, the letters, "RVG" are stamped in the trail-off vinyl on both record sides. The labels are in excellent condition with bright and vibrant colors. The vinyl is in excellent condition on the B side and would rate better were it not for a two-inch moderate scratch. The vinyl is excellent plus on the A side with only a couple of light surface marks The vinyl is in beautiful condition. The mirror-like vinyl gloss is tremendous. The jacket is also in excellent, beautiful condition with virtually none of the soiling that usually occurs against the white background of a record of this age. The front cover is glossy with bright and vibrant colors. The edges and corners are very nice. There are only a few minute toches of wear. There is a name written, "Donnakay & Ken Pike", on the back side cover, by the upper right hand corner. The musicians on the record are Miles Davis-trumpet; Red Garland-piano; Paul Chambers-bass; John Coltrane-tenor sax; Kenny Clarke-drums; Milt Jackson-vibes; Thelonius Monk-piano; Percy Heath-bass; and Philly Joe Jones-drums.
