On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by McDonald & Giles called "McDonald & Giles" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1970 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Pink i' Island label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A 1ST PRESSING!!!!  THIS LP VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE - AND EVEN WHEN THE OCCASSIONAL COPY DOES SHOW UP - IT IS EITHER A LATER PRESSING OR IN TERRIBLE CONDITION.  BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!!  THIS IS A 100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS PINK i ISLAND LABEL AND IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  THIS LP IS ALSO VERY SOUGHT AFTER AS IT FEATURES STEVE WINWOOD (SPENCER DAVIS GROUP, BLIND FAITH, TRAFFIC, ETC)!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE 1970 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS PINK 'i' ISLAND LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD 'E.J.DAY' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AND SERIOUSLY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  The Cat. No is ILPS 9126 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Pink i' Island label (see picture) and is a Stereo 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light wispy scufflines (only visible under EXTREME light), and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO nasty loud pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss and only some absolutely MEGA low level touches of background crackle in a VERY few places (though it is always EXTREMELY low level indeed)!!!!  There is NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Excellent(Minus)!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Gatefold 'E.J.Day' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has barely ANY edgewear (NOT through the colour), only VERY slight spinal wear (only the VERY edges only - side words PERFECT), barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear AT ALL, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed), and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated inside is in STUNNING condition with NO yellowing, NO writing, NO grubbyness and NO rubbing!!!!  The only INCREDIBLY minor point to make is some barely noticeable and VERY minor 'touching in' on the spine. But take a look at the pictures!!!! This really is a BRILLIANT conditioned cover and MILES better than the usual 'trashed' examples that occassionally turn up!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AND SERIOUSLY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPRTUNITY!!!!
