Description

Original 1968 The Halliard and Jon Raven 1968 LP BRO 106 in near mint condition.

I bought this record from Nic directly when he was the resident host at Brentwood folk club.  The Halliard, featuring Dave Moran, Nick Jones (with a K) and Nigel Pattison, along with Jon Raven were regular local performers at the club.  This was the Halliard's second album, one somewhat inspired by Jon Raven's encyclopedic knowledge of Street Ballards and Broadsheet folk music.  It features their own arrangements of a range of classic folk ballards (see cover picture for details).  A fascinating album with evocative insights into the background and develpment of Nic's unique style and solo career.

Both cover and disk are in original near mint condition, its been played very few times and stored/unused for about 40 years.  NB I'm progressivley selling off my whole collection of original vintage folk LP's, also listed on Ebay.
