Original very early 1st US pressing of Paul McCartney & Wings’ album “Band On The Run” released by Capitol Records on May 12, 1973. Incredibly factory sealed copy with two original hype stickers affixed to the shrink wrap, one of which is considered to be the identifier of the very early 1st pressing. Black / green sticker with an arrow image directed at the band informs that the two hit singles, “Jet” and “Helen Wheels”, are included into this album. We’ve included into this listing a quite incredible merch. Original vintage 1973 promotional T-shirt with the original print on the front side fully corresponding to the second hype sticker present on the currently listed copy, a blue / white hype sticker located at the top right corner of the front cover. The back side of the T-shirt has a similar print but with a different text, which besides the “Band On The Run” album title, symbolically indicates two cities that have a direct connection to the recording of the album – London and Lagos, Nigeria. The original tag is still intact indicating the US size Large (42-44). The T-shirt measures 20” from pit to pit, 18.5” in the shoulder area with the length of 26”. The currently listed 1st pressing issue includes an original large 20” x 27” color poster with the “polaroid snapshots” of the band as well as a custom inner sleeve with the lyrics to the album’s songs on one side and a black and white photo from the band’s Nigerian excursion on the other.

The album is graded as Mint Minus. Aside from a very light and barely noticeable small crease at the bottom right corner it's in stunning condition. The shrink wrap is fully intact containing two original breathe holes on the front cover. The T-shirt is in great vintage condition with a couple of small professionally repaired holes.
