Description
After five years as a record seller, I took a break and now I'm back in business. 98% of my feedbacks are for records, most of the rest are for music related memorabilia. I recently acquired an extensive Jazz collection so initially my auctions will focus on those. Because I use a scanner for picks, not all of the record cover is picked up. However I try to make my written descriptions as accurate and detailed as possible.
This is kind of an oddity i guess. Somebody's failed idea at Prestige since i can't find any information on these. PRES 16-6. Modern Jazz Survey 2/ Baritones and French Horns. 16 2/3 RPM. Vinyl VG+. Could be better but i can't play this one as may turntable doesn't have this speed. I wonder if anyone does? Only see a couple of partial surface scratches. Labels on the record look new. Cover has 1' split top right and top middle, corner scuffing and edge wear in a few small spots. Cover art by Peter Davies/Esmond Edwards. Players Pepper Adams, Cecil Payne, Julius Watkins, Dave Amran, John Coltrane, Hamp Hawes. Shihab, and Curtis Fuller.
