Description

An original 1st issue of Animals on the UK Harvest label. Matrix 4/3. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original heavy-card wide-spine cover. Also included is the original heavy-card lyric inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - one of which looks extremely minor, but does appear to just about sound. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one deviation. A top-level performer for the most part with little to find fault with. These original 1st issues sound absolutely fab. Interference is extremely limited throughout - and there's only one thing that I can find fault with. In the first short track [Pigs (part 1)] there's a very light mark which causes a light tick throughout the track...estimated track length approx 1min. But for that one minor issue the remainder of the LP plays back to a very high standard indeed.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and is not exhibiting too much of that often found surface wear. There's a touch of it along the top edges back and front, but otherwise it looks very nice. The interior looks great - no issues. There's edge wear e.g. bottom edge, but nothing epic. The spine exhibits a touch of wear here and there, but the text is all still legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies totally flat.
Inner (Vg+) Surfaces look good. But 1 X 2 inch bottom edge split & 1 X 2 inch edge split.
