Description
Prince – Purple Rain LP Album. Coloured Purple Vinyl, Limited Japanese Pressing, c/with Poster and OBI. Cat No. P-13021.
A copy of the late Prince’s Purple Rain album on coloured translucent purple vinyl, complete with poster, OBI and merchandise info. It's a Japanese pressing, originally released to limited numbers back in 1984 by Warner Bros.
Originally purchased online approx. ten years ago, it's only been used a number of times since I got it. It's been well looked after since I bought it, and I’m pretty particular about how I look after my vinyl collection It has been kept in a sturdy plastic sleeve since when I bought it to help minimise shelf-wear and dust.
Sleeve wise, it’s in a great shape, especially considering its age, with no significant signs of wear at all, with all corners looking sharp, free of any dents or dings. The OBI is clean, along with the A2 sized poster and merchandise information in Japanese. The inner sleeve with lyrics (also in Japanese) is also in a good condition - there is a small smudge like mark on the sleeve mind, which can be seen from one of the images.
Media wise, the disc is in a super condition, and plays really well, with no skips when played on my Rega3 turntable. It's a nice bright, clear sounding album.
Using the vinyl grading system, media is offered as Near Mint condition, and sleeves overall in VG condition.
I’ve tried to capture as much detail as possible on the images in this listing to show the condition of this album, but if you have any questions then please do get in touch – happy to answer any queries which you may have.
Reason for selling is that I've simply decided to sell any limited vinyl's in my collection, as I think someone else will appreciate them more - I'm listing a few other vinyl's on here, so be sure to check them out to see if they interest you.
