Description

ROLLING STONES Ready Steady Go 1964 UK DECCA MONO DG 1st Pop Beat Mojos Heinz

Ready Steady Go.

Compilation LP from the early '60's UK TV Pop/Beat Music show.

Features "Come On" and "I Wanna Be Your Man" by The Rolling Stones.

1964 England pressed Decca Records mono LP, LK 4577.

Earliest heavy duty red and silver label issue with distinctive Decca pressed deep groove and earliest 1B/1B matrix suffixes.

Vinyl visually around G. Clearly played a number of times. There are numerous spider trail marks around the centre spindle areas although the labels are not worn or whitened here. The surfaces still have a decent gloss but display a number of scuff marks and some gentle scratches.

Playback is also around G. There is some background crackle and some softish to (less frequently so) mid-level ticks. This is occasionally distracting to listening pleasure. However background noise generally doesn't overwhelm the loud and bright cut most of the time.

Labels are clean and unmarked.

Inner sleeve in good order.

External sleeve around G. Complete and without tears, and laminated front panel clean and unmarked. However, starting to brittle and showing tiny nicks at entry side. Matt white rear panel somewhat soiled and grubby and with ringwear impression. Edges generally intact otherwise. Some small pinch line creases, which have taken on browning, leading in from edges.
