THE ROLLING STONES Between The Buttons UK MONO 1st DECCA GROOVED 3A/3A
The Rolling Stones, Between The Buttons.
1967 England pressed Decca Records mono LP, LK 4852.
Earliest issue with distinctive Decca grooved red/silver lables and 3A/3A matrix suffixes.
A played and enjoyed LP but one which reamains in above average condition. Vinyl is still glossy but with a number of scuff marks and a very few light hairline scratches.
Plays a very strong VG. Some occasional very low level and unobtrusive crackle at quieter spots and separator bands, but rarely during tracks. An occasional very soft tick but no loud or consecutive ticks.
Labels are clean and unmarked with moderate spindle activity.
Inner sleeve is correct period and in clean condition, but with the title of another Decca release penned to top corner of rear.
External sleeve fairly worn and around G. Front panel genearlly clean and free pof loss, stickers etc., but yellowed sellotape and removed sellotape marks to top and bottom, affecting both front and rear. Creasing to top left corner. White rear panel has overall grubbiness and darkening. Minor imperfections to laminate and pinch line creases leading in from edge areas. Entry side brittled and with some small nicks and one slightly longer closed tear at rear. Elses edges intact with no seam splits. Tips worn and a little rounded.
