Description
Scarce 10-inch shellac record: SONNY ROLLINS QUARTET - Mambo Bounce / This Love Of Mine - Prestige PR 769, released in 1952. Players include Art Blakey, Kenny Drew and Percy Heath.
Condition is VG++ (glossy, nearly EX but with some minimal soft scuffs and several short soft scratches - only one of which I can feel; clean labels).
MORE TO COME - I've listed and will be listing many other 10" and 12" shellac records (blues, r&b, jazz) over the next few months. A NOTE ON SHIPPING SHELLAC RECORDS: I use the floating method, with the record sandwiched between strong pieces of cardboard with corrugate in opposite directions, then placed inside a larger sturdy box with packing material all around inside to prevent any movement (either peanuts, large-bubble wrap, or crumpled paper). Sometimes if I have old 10" LP jackets I don't need, I will put your record in it before sandwiching; otherwise will be in a paper sleeve. I will also always insure these with the USPS. Due to the extra time, materials, insurance, and extra care, I'm asking $6.00 for Media Mail shipping ($4 is actual shipping cost).
