Description
Ride - Going Blank Again - Very Rare Creation Records Double 45 vinyl LP. Original first pressing. Long out of print. Vinyl is in excellent condition, however I purchased this used in the mid 90's, via mail, and when it arrived, it appeared that the lower right corner had gotten water damaged at some point. The damage was significant enough that it soaked through both sides of the gatefold, and due to the glossy print of the sleeve, the printing peeled off on the bottom left and right corners of the gatefold picture. Other than that, the sleeve is in good shape, but again, the lower right corner of the sleeve is damaged. All four sides play perfectly, and the inner lyric sheet is in excellent condition as well. Fantastic sounding pressing at 45 RPM, contains the singles Leave Them All Behind and Twisterella, plus classics like Mouse Trap, Time Of Her Time, and OX4.
As a bonus, to make up for the damage to the sleeve, I will include your choice of either CD, or emailed digital files of Ride's Live Lockdown performance from August 8, 2020. Recorded on a soundstage in London, and broadcast to ticket holders, this internet concert was the band's way of connecting with their audience during the 2020 lockdown. Performing a career spanning set featuring tracks from every album except for Tarantula, plus tracks from the Today Forever ep and their self-titled debut ep. The set is notable for having the first performance of the Carnival Of Light opener, Moonlight Medicine, in over 20 years. Full track listing as follows: 01. Intro 02. Jump Jet (from This Is Not A Safe Place) 03. Future Love (from This Is Not A Safe Place) 04. Leave Them All Behind (from Going Blank Again) 05. Unfamiliar (from the Today Forever ep) 06. Shadows Behind The Sun (from This Is Not A Safe Place) 07. Moonlight Medicine (from Carnival Of Light) 08. Lannoy Point (from Weather Diaries) 09. Twisterella (from Going Blank Again) 10. OX4 (from Going Blank Again) 11. Taste (from the Fall ep & non-vinyl versions of Nowhere) 12. Kill Switch Engage (from This Is Not A Safe Place) 13. Vapour Trail (from Nowhere) 14. Chelsea Girl (from the Ride ep)
Again, this is just a free bonus I'm throwing in to make up for the damage to the sleeve, so if you win, let me know your preference of CD included with the LP, or emailed digital files.
