Description
PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THERE IS A LOT TO DIESCRIBE!
PLEASE NOTE: There is a name written in pen in the lower left corner of the front cover that has somewhat faded with time. (please see pics)
There is a surface mark at the very begining of Side 1 / Track 1 and a surface mark in the same spot on Side 2 / Track 1 that are unfeelable and appears to be a manufacturing defect / dimple. It does NOT affect play.(please see pics) And there is a dent / scrape in the center of the front cover(possibly from being stored next to The Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers zipper)(please see pics)The original Polydor stock inner sleeve is included. It is a plain white sleeve with a little gloss to it. It has a split seam on all 3 sides. (please see pics) I placed the LP in a new plain inner sleeve to protect the original sleeve.
If any of these issues are a concern for you, please don't buy it.
AS A BONUS I HAVE INCLUDED A Black & White PHOTOCOPY OF THE VERY RARE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER. I like to add a PHOTOCOPY of the hype sticker, if I have it, as an added bonus as they are usually discarded and are hard to find.
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME! But you will hear surface noise typical with a Very Good grading.
Up for sale is one(1) Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow - Self Titled Debut LP from 1975 on Polydor / Oyster Records (#PD 6049).
This incredible band features, of course:
Ritchie Blackmore, formerly of Deep Purple on lead guitar.
Future member of Black Sabbath, The One, The Only, RONNIE JAMES DIO on vocals.
And was Produced by Martin "The Wasp" Birch. First pressing with "WASP" and KENDUN etched in the dead wax signaling a high quality mastering.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age that may cause surface noise typical with a Very Good grading. Even with a Very Good grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts. The labels are in Very Good condition with some spindle marks.
The gatefold cover is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, fading, creases, peeling, dings, dents, scrapes, and ring wear. There is a name written in pen in the lower left corner of the front cover. (please see pics)
This cover typically doesn't age well, but this one is in Very Good condition.
The LP comes in a plain inner sleeve.
I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
