Description
PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THERE IS A LOT TO DIESCRIBE!
PLEASE NOTE: There is minor staining of an unknown origin at the bottom of the front & rear covers and the inside of the gatefold. It is actually pretty hard to notice on the front cover. (please see pics)
The gatefold cover is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, fading, creases, peeling, dings, dents, scrapes, and ring wear. (please see pics)
This cover typically doesn't age well, but this one is in Very Good condition.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age and surface marks that may cause surface noise typical with a Very Good grading. Even with a Very Good grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts. (please see pics)The original Polydor stock inner sleeve is included. It is a plain white sleeve with a little gloss to it. It has a split seam on all 3 sides. (please see pics) I placed the LP in a new plain inner sleeve to protect the original sleeve.
If any of these issues are a concern for you, please don't buy it.
AS A BONUS I HAVE INCLUDED A Black & White PHOTOCOPY OF THE VERY RARE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER. I like to add a PHOTOCOPY of the hype sticker, if I have it, as an added bonus as they are usually discarded and are hard to find.
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME! But you will hear surface noise typical with a Very Good grading.
Up for sale is one(1) Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow - Self Titled Debut LP from 1975 on Polydor / Oyster Records (#PD 6049).
This incredible band features, of course:
Ritchie Blackmore, formerly of Deep Purple on lead guitar.
Future member of Black Sabbath, The One, The Only, RONNIE JAMES DIO on vocals.
And was Produced by Martin "The Wasp" Birch. First pressing with "WASP" and KENDUN etched in the dead wax signaling a high quality mastering.
Nice clean labels. The LP comes in a plain inner sleeve.I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
