PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THERE IS A LOT TO DESCRIBE!!!
PLEASE NOTE: THE LP HAS TYPICAL WEAR FROM AGE THAT INCLUDES SURFACE MARKS. THE SURFACE MARKS DO NOT CAUSE ANY SKIPS, BUT YOU WILL HEAR SURFACE AND / OR POPS & CLICKS TYPICAL WITH A VERY GOOD GRADING.THE COVER HAS WEAR THAT IS TYPICAL WITH AGE THAT HAS CAUSED FADING, PEELING, CORNER DINGS / SOFTERS, SCRAPES, RING WEAR, CREASES, CRUMPLES, ETC...ALL OF WHICH ARE TYPICAL WITH A VERY GOOD GRADING. THERE IS SOME PEELING AND FADING ON THE SPINE THAT IS TYPICAL GATEFOLD COVERS.
IF ANY OF THESE ISSUES ARE A CONCERN FOR YOU PLEASE DON'T BUY IT.
AS A BONUS I HAVE INCLUDED A Black & White PHOTOCOPY of THE VERY RARE ORIGINAL Hype Sticker. I like to add a PHOTOCOPY of the hype sticker, if I have it, as an added bonus as they are usually discarded and are hard to find.
PLAY TESTED! I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME! but you may hear surface noise typical with a Very Good grading.
Up for sale is one(1) Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow - Rainbow Rising LP from 1976 on Polydor / Oyster Records (#OY-1-1601).
This pressing has STERLING stamped in the deadwax.
This incredible band features, of course:
Ritchie Blackmore, formerly of Deep Purple on lead guitar.
Future member of Black Sabbath, The One, The Only, RONNIE JAMES DIO on vocals.
The Legendary Cozy Powell on Drums and Jimmy Bain on Bass.
And if that wasn't enough, it was Produced by Martin "The Wasp" Birch.
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition with typical wear from age that may cause surface noise typical with an VERY GOOD grading. Even with an VERY GOOD grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticible during the quiet parts.Nice clean labels with some spindle marks.
The cover is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to soft corners / corner dings, fadining, scrapes, peeling, ring wear, etc... THERE ARE NO SPLIT SEAMS.
This cover typically does not age well, but this one is in Very Good shape.
The LP comes in a plain inner sleeve.
