About 2 minutes  of  side B intro first,  with a 20 second gap while I turn the disc over. Side A starts at 2 Mins 20secs,  Relatively silent vinyl, especially considering the sleeve is only POOR with damaged and re glued scallop flipbacks and moisture stains and warping to the thin scallop back jacket laminated both sides. Also cover is missiong stereo radiowaves sticker , mark on cover indicates it used to be just below the word "Goose" in title, but it's not there now.

Nice long samples of the areas most likely to be damaged from needle drop or scuff damage(opening few minutes both sides) . I assure you from a full test replay the whole record is as clean as this. with only very small sections of quiet play with soft static or occasionally 3 or 4 soft repetetive tics.

UK SAX 2279 LP VG+(virtually unmarked record,

Cover POOR cover has small seam splits, rounded corners and badly damaged an d re-glued scallop flipback seams. Also some damage to cover front artwork, also every corner bent or warped and evidence of bottom and spline waterdamage with staining under rear laminate.  How the record stayed so clean with all that going on is beyond my comprehension, but its a great sounding 'filler' until a better cover comes along.!! L

Stereo copy   Full replay, Very acceptable for  REPLAY clean, only a few paper scuffs visible in Sunlight only.THE FEW MARKS THERE ARE ALL NON SOUNDING IN REPLAY. 

COVER CONDITION   POOR

a few small seam  splits, BUT.......

ALL SCALLOP FLIPBACK SEAMS BADLY DAMAGED AND MISSING SECTIONS. I RE GLUED ALL THE LOOSE BITS THAT WERE LEFT JUST TO HOLD IT ALL TOGETHER..  IT'S A SHOCKER! ALONG WITH CORNER BENDS, WATER STAINING AND WARPING, YOU WANT THIS ONLY FOR THE NICE LP, A GREAT PURCHASE IF YOU HAVE A GOOD COVER AND YOUR lp IS DAMAGED, BECAUSE THIS LP IS REALLY NICE FOR VG+ I GRADED CONSERVATIVELY AS I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THE LP SOUNDS AND LOOKS AS GOOD AS IT DOES, IF IT LIVED WITH THIS COVER ! 

NICE CLEAN AND ORIGINAL EARLY EMI COLUMBIA INNER!

MINIMAL  RING WEAR (very little rubbing wear) although there is the embossing of the LP shape in the front and back cover, but the laminate is still shiny over those 'embossings' so to me that is 'embossing' not 'ring wear'

LP CONDITIONSEE last photo's in full flash mode, if there were any scuffs or scratches, they would show up in that exercise !! LP  has just a few faint spider web scuffs only in sunlight but not visible in any photo's not even flash photo's 

Play test has only infrequent soft pips  as per normal vinyl replay BEAUTIFUL, AND THE DYNAMICS ARE GREAT

BE aware the sound sample talked about IS A LOW SAMPLE RATE AND accentuates treble (Hence more static crackle that you DON'T hear through your Hi Fi) and is low quality, but you get the idea.
