Description

Absolutely stunning original 1970 first pressing copy of the classic Simon and Garfunkel Bridge Over Troubled Water LP on Columbia KCS-9914. Original 2-eye labels and thicker vinyl. The sound on these origin pressings is so much better than the later orange ring copies. Really a treat to hear a copy as good as this. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. As you all know, there is a lot of very quiet music on this album and it is competely undisturbed by any pops or crackles. It plays as quiet as a mouse. Just a beautiful listen. The cover has a touch of shelfwear, with a few scuffs, light corner wear and very faint ringwear. Really a very nice cover. This is a top original copy, very hard indeed to beat.
