Description
This is an absolutely beautiful original 1970 copy of Simon & Garfunkel's all-time classic LP, Bridge Over Troubled Water, on Columbia KCS-9914. Original 2-Eye labels, only on the original pressing. The difference in sound between the first pressing and all subsequent pressings (standard ones) is almost unbelievable. These first pressings sound like dripping honey. Just beautiful, full, present sound. And this copy is absolutely gorgeous. Almost perfectly mint, it plays just about as flawlessly and beautifully as you can ever hope for. One or two very minor and completely superficial sleeve scuffs that do not in any way affect the play. The cover has barely the slightest wear at all, just the tiniest minuscule wear at the open edge, but barely. It is truly as beautiful looking a copy as it is a beautiful playing copy. Comes with the rare original 1969 custom S&G Columbia inner sleeve, as well. Really this is a top, top original copy. Easily the best copy I have heard / seen in ages. Near impossible to beat.
