So this is a test press of the I'm Sorry I'm Leaving butterfly 7" from Saves the Day. My friend Sean and I did the label that released this and this is the last copy that either of us have. Sean sold some but I never did. There were ten copies of the test press and five went to the band and we kept five to ourselves. I guess that means Sean traded/sold four copies. We made silver butterflies for the test presses. If it's been played than that was over ten years ago when we got the test presses. If you don't know what a test press here's a little breakdown. Before the plant presses your full run of records-it was about 500 copies in this case-they press a small amount and then send them to you for your approval. Sometimes things get messed up and when you when you get these test presses it sounds messed up or the grooves were cut too close and there is skipping. We only ever didn't approve one test press for a record and that was more cause we didn't like the mastering job. That wasn't for this release. So yeah, if you're looking at this you probably know the deal. I'm putting it up for a lot of money. If it doesn't sell it's not the end of my world. It is one of the few chances to get a copy of this though.
