Original Father Yod pressing of the great Spacemen 3's Taking Drugs To Make Music To Take Drugs To LP, also known as the Northampton Demos. Recorded in 1986, released in 1990, which is when I bought this. Still the best thing they ever did, and that's saying a lot. It also sounds one hell of a lot better on vinyl than any of the CD issues. Purchased upon release from Forced Exposure mail order, played twice, then stored in a plastic sleeve and lovingly tended to in a temperature controlled environment. Due to a couple of very minor creases in the lower right corner (picture #2), I'm calling the sleeve and the vinyl VG+, although that's a VERY conservative grade on the vinyl at least. It's a gorgeous copy of a stone(d) classic. I've been collecting records for about 25 years and worked in very good record stores for a not insignificant percentage of those years. I have thousands and thousands of them, and have probably sold as many as I've bought. In other words, I know what I'm doing and am not going to screw you over. I do not sell them lightly, and hope they go to someone as pathetically, pathologically and girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse-infuriatingly obsessed with them as I am. I combine shipping, am happy to ship internationally (and am equally happy to take the necessary steps to avoid exorbitant customs charges and such), and charge a reasonable rate that probably won't even cover my real shipping costs but I figure we all think it's too damned expensive so I'll split the difference with you because that's just how great of a guy I am. I pack well and insist on any problems with the transaction being solved by the responsible party. That means if your record shows up damaged, you damn well better have bought the insurance. In order to avoid such problems, I recommend asking pertinent questions in advance. Stupid questions will be responded to in the voice of the Muppet Show's Swedish Chef. I am increasingly open to selling off parts of my collection, so if there's something you've been looking for, send your inquiries and want lists this way and I will try to put those items up for auction as well.
