This is quite a find; an extremely nice copy of the ultra rare 2xLP “The Stark Reality Discovers Hoagy Carmichael’s Music Shop,” released in 1970 as the music for the WGBH/21”Classroom television series. This is in no way a typical children’s show soundtrack; this is some seriously weird and complex Zappa-esque jazz/rock fusion, and quite an interesting ride it is.... Musicians include Monty Stark on vibes/voice, John Abercrombie on guitar, Phil Morrison on bass and Vinnie Johnson on drums. An excellent record, a really rare find!
