Description
This is the incredibly rare test pressing edition of Porcupine Tree's Voyage 34 (Phases 1 & 2) from Richard Allen's personal collection. Richard ran Delerium and signed Porcupine Tree in the early 1990s managing them up until 2003.
Every Delerium vinyl release had a special limited run of test pressings with custom made sleeves. Voyage 34 was issued in a run of six copies and each copy was enclosed in a white card sleeve with paste on artwork front and back. They were distributed to the band and the press.
The test pressing is date stamped 24th August 1992.
Also included is a three page sales/press sheet with band biography and press cuttings.
This is an important Steven Wilson/ Porcupine Tree Collectable.
VOYAGE 34
"Voyage 34", which was to be part of the Porcupine Tree's second studio album, Up the Downstair. Originally a 30 minute track intended to be the second disc of a double album, Wilson eventually decided to release "Voyage 34" independently of the rest of the album. Instead, it was released in two parts, as singles, as "Voyage 34 (Phase 1)" and "Voyage 34 (Phase 2)" in 1992.
