Description
This is the 1968 German DGG 3-LP (139270/72) box set of Szeryng playing Bach partitas BWV1001-1006. The sleeves are dated 1967 and 1968; the records bear 1968 stampers. I've also included a review of the set in the form of a newspaper clipping from 1969. You can see that 45 years ago this set retailed for $17.94.
The set's comprised of a booklet, the original tissue paper packaging, the original box, and the three LPs, in their original sleeves, in glossy condition. I've taken pictures of each side of each disc. I've used Gallery Plus to show better close-ups, so please study the pictures carefully. Other than some dust in the grooves, these are very, very nice. You can just see how clean these are around the spindle. If I were grading these for my personal use, I'd say NM. But I hesitate to grade anything on eBay, so I'll just let the pictures tell the story.
The box is not in mint condition--you can see there is a small tear on the cover and there's wear to the spine. But buyers will want this set for the vinyl.
Shipping is FREE in the continent of North America. That's tracked and expedited. Shipping elsewhere in the world will be at cost to the buyer. Overseas shipping will have to be via airmail, which, because I'll package the set properly, will be $50.
