Description
Here's an almost complete Original Australian Beatles vinyl 45s collection. The only one missing is Cry For A Shadow.
Includes an EX- original copy of Komm, Gibb Mir Diene Hand b/w Sie Liebt Dich (see photos 11 & 12).
NB: A Sydney record shop wants $400 for a copy which doesn't look as good as the one included in this collection.
Also features My Bonnie & Ain't She Sweet - 2 of the 3 Original Polydor 45s released in 1964.
Features a NM copy of Penny Lane in its original VG+ Picture Sleeve as well as a NM copy of Let It Be in its great picture sleeve.
Included as well are the last 3 x UK vinyl 45s from the 1990's - Baby It's You EP, Free As A Bird and Real Love.
In total there are 42 x original 45s dating from 1964 - 1996 ranging from VG+ to NM.
YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS ORIGINAL COLLECTION.
Being an original collection all singles up till Let It Be are in MONO.
BTW: Parlophone in England started using the bigger Australian style lettering in the early 1980's. It was already in use on English pressings of Ebony & Ivory by Paul McCartney in 1982. In Australia the design of the Black & Silver 45 label stayed unchanged from 1964 until EMI Australia stopped pressing vinyl at the start of the 1990's.
NB: For any bidders outside Australia the total weight of the 3 x blue folders holding the 45s is more than Australia Post will allow to be sent by Air together. Each 2kg folder will have to be sent seperately via Airmail, if that is your wish - otherwise they can all be sent together via very slow but usually sure Sea-Mail.
Further Note: Sea Mail is not the best option for International delivery. Australia Post will NOT allow these 45s to be delivered by Economy Air Mail BUT it will allow them to be delivered together via STANDARD AIR MAIL to most countries in the world (with tracking and optional Insurance). Price is approx. $130 without Insurance. Insurance for $1500 costs an additional $54 - higher if the auction price exceeds $1500.
