Description

Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Sgt Pepper 12" 1967 RARE EXTRA DOT original STEREO Parlophone LP vinyl' in overall EXCELLENT condition.
Side 1 features an extra dot in the 'Sold in U.K' statement on the label! This is considered to be a rare variation.

VINYL:-
Visual:

  • Side 1 - a few hairlines and light marks but nothing serious or deep. Rated as EXCELLENT! Label is EXCELLENT, featuring the extra dot!
  • Side 2 -  mainly light hairlines and sleeve removal trails. Rated as EXCELLENT! Label is EXCELLENT (light spindlewear).

Audio:
  • Absolute minimal background crackle on my system! One of the cleanest, clearest STEREO Sgt Pepper's I have EVER heard! Fantastic stereo mix with no distortion, hiss or serious crackle! (There is background crackle but absolute minimum! I'm being very strict). Currently rated as EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+! Lies flat and plays extremely well! NO SKIPS, NO STICKS and NO JUMPS on my system! Fantastic example!

Original green cutout insert is NEAR MINT! No issues at all!

The sleeve is 100% intact and houses the record very well. I rate it as EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+! Fantastic gloss and shine to both the front, inside gatefold and rear of the sleeve! Very very slight ringwear but hardly noticeable! Also, there is some lamination peeling towards the spine but not major - please see pictures! Spine is 100% readable and very square! Could be a slightly pinched wide spine?? Take a look and see for yourself - I am no expert. Flipbacks are intact and overall, this is a very clean copy!

Catalogue number - PCS 7027 Number of tracks - 13 Released - 1967 Matrix numbers - YEX  637-1   YEX  638-1

As with all the vintage records I sell, I advise a deep clean to enhance the sound quality of the record. Overall, a fantastic classic Beatles Sgt Pepper record that is RARE!
Don't miss YOUR chance to own a classic 'The Beatles - Sgt Pepper' RARE EXTRA DOT stereo 1967 LP for a GREAT price!
