THE BEATLES - "THE BEATLES" - Parlophone Records mono vinyl LP, UK 1968.
Original UK 1st pressing of the "White Album", the sought-after mono version. The dark green Apple labels have the 'SOLD IN U.K.' text. The top-loading laminated gatefold sleeve has the 'G+L' credits inside and the 2 flipbacks. Comes with the 4 photos and the original poster with the lyrics on the back. Matrix numbers are: XEX 709 - 1 / XEX 710 - 2 / XEX 711 - 1 / XEX 712 - 1 see pics for more label & sleeve details. CONDITION: Vinyl is VG, plays through fine and sounds great like the mono pressing should. Looks like there's been a sticker (factory sample or similar?) on side 2 at some point , see pic for details. Sleeve is G to VG, the laminate has a couple of creases, and there is a small tear on the opening of the back of the sleeve, and some storage wear but nothing too heavy. The LP's have black inners but these are later ones, and in excellent condition. The photos and poster are both VG, look very nice for their age. All in all, not minty but it sounds great, looks pretty good, and has a relatively low serial number, definitely still a good one to have in your collection. All my vinyl is shipped in a protective plastic sleeve inside a proper vinyl mailer with card protectors. 99p start for this classic mono Beatles LP so don't miss out on this one and don't forget to check my other items for more mono Beatles vinyl...
