Description
Up for sale is a copy of The Jazz Scene set of 6 12" 78 RPM records. Complete in hardcover binder with great black and white photos.
This edition is signed and numbered by Norman Granz. This particular copy is the lowest number I have seen for sale, number 34 (!)
The cover is in VG-/G++ condition, with minor discoloring, and some staining on the spine. The pages inside vary in condition. The photos are in great condition, with some minor rub wear here and there, but hardly noticeable. The pages next to the record sleeves show discoloration, which looks to be pretty common. Only one page has a small tear, which I have pictured.
Records are in VG condition, with subtle surface scuffs under bright light, nothing that I can feel with my fingers. The Duke Ellington record looks like it got the most play, and I have tried to capture the condition in the photos.
