Description
THE KINKS KINDA KINKS
Pye 65 A1B1 UK 1st pr LP
NPL18112
UK 1st press with pretty nice audio,
but not a great sleeve to be honest.
Original flipback SLEEVE made by Garrod & Lofthouse
has a tear to the surface on rear & slight damage to
flipback, laminate creases on the front, slight edge
rubbing & generally just fair to good condition.
LABELS have quite a few spindle marks,
cellotape residue mark on Side 2 Label.
VINYL is visually just good condition but
actually plays pretty well, alot better than
expected with fairly minimal surface noise.
Visually just not fantastic.
Has had a professional clean and has been housed
in a new Japanese anti static inner sleeve
inside the original inner sleeve.
Item 898"
For accurate play grading (like all my records)
This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable
fitted with a Goldring stylus,
Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers
that have superb response and definition on all frequencies,
with a Quad Amp set-up.
For accurate visual grade (like all my records)
This record has been professionally cleaned using an
Okki Nokki cleaning machine.
First clean with purified water and isopropanol alcohol and
finished off with L'art du son / purified water mix.
The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have
from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.
The l’art du son mix seems to smooth out any brittleness
in the alcohol water mix.
